Under the direction of owners Wendy Woods and Piper Lunsford, collectively known as “The Girls,” NOSH Eclectic Foodstuffs has become the go-to eatery for Durham locals, students and visitors.
Following the success of their first restaurant, Pipers in the Park, The Girls set out to introduce a second concept closer to the central part of Durham with a community-centric focus. Utilizing their more than 30 years of combined experience in the restaurant industry and their distinct vision of a dining destination that would offer both a bustling meeting place and delicious, affordable fare, The Girls opened NOSH.
NOSH quickly established itself as Raleigh-Durham’s premier spot to enjoy eclectic comfort cuisine within a welcoming, energetic environment, attracting a wide range of guests, including students grabbing breakfast, colleagues holding lunch meetings and families enjoying dinner on the spacious outdoor patio.
The Girls, who can often be found in the dining room chatting with diners, remain committed to offering a wide selection of handmade, creative food, perfect to satisfy meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. With a menu that ranges from fresh gourmet salads to hearty cheeseburgers, there truly is something for everyone. In addition, the freshest ingredients of each season inspire The Girls to create delicious daily specials such as lump crab cakes, spicy hand-rolled empanadas and grilled Southwestern chicken with mango salsa.
